Course Description
The Freight Handler qualification provides comprehensive training in warehouse and freight operations, preparing learners for roles in stevedoring, warehousing, bulk cargo, courier, port, and air freight environments by developing competence in receiving, storing, picking, reconciling and dispatching freight, cargo documentation, tracking and inventory control, packaging standards, palletisation, barcoding and labelling, practical loading and offloading, load securing, equipment operation (including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors and lifting gear), warehouse safety, PPE compliance, hazardous goods handling, dispatch coordination, routing schedules, waybill interpretation, delivery reporting, and customer-focused stock accuracy to ensure fully compliant, safe and efficient freight flow across the supply chain.
