Course Description

This qualification prepares learners to support and promote healthy lifestyles within communities by providing basic health education, awareness campaigns, and community outreach services. Learners are equipped with skills to assist in disease prevention initiatives, promote wellness programmes, support primary health care activities, and work alongside health professionals in community-based settings. The programme focuses on communication, health advocacy, record keeping, and ethical conduct within the health sector.

NQF Level 1 or equivalent competences in Mathematical Literacy and Communication.

SAQA equivalency required for non-SA qualifications.
