Course Description

Occupational Certificate: Transport Clerk prepares learners to operate effectively within the road, freight, and passenger transport environment. It focuses on developing the competencies required to plan, schedule, dispatch, monitor and record transport operations efficiently and safely. Learnersgain practical and theoretical knowledge in transport legislation, scheduling, operational documentation, route planning, and customer liaison. The course is structured to integrate knowledge, practical skills, and workplace experience so that learners demonstrate real occupational competence. Graduates will be able to manage dispatch functions, maintain accurate transport records, ensure compliance with relevant laws, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. This qualification supports both entry-level employment and progression to supervisory positions in the logistics and transport sector.
